What are the two types of demolition?

There are two popular types of demolition: commercial and residential. Commercial demolition refers to business-specific buildings, such as office buildings and retail stores. Residential demolition refers to homes and buildings that are designated living spaces, such as homes and apartment buildings.

What is involved in demolition?

Demolition is the dismantling, razing, destroying or wrecking of any building or structure or any part thereof. Demolition work involves many of the hazards associated with construction. However, demolition involves additional hazards due to unknown factors which makes demolition work particularly dangerous.
